This past weekend I had the pleasure to be apart of Callie Lindsey’s first destination workshop in Charleston, NC. I arrived to Charleston Sunday morning and met some of the other photogs for coffee before we headed to the house at which the workshop was being held. Meeting up with people I’ve never met before is fairly easy but that is only because we had talked and gotten to know each other prior to meeting! We talked over coffee and then we set off and explored the Historic area of Charleston.
I can’t tell you how excited we all were when 5:30 rolled around; that was the starting time of the Welcome Cocktail party! We all arrived at the house pretty much right at 5:30 so excited to meet Callie & her team! Hugs are a photographers love language I’ve got to say because there were some awesome hugs during this workshop, ha!
With out going into too much detail, the next two days were amazing. We were taught how to be successful but also how to keep the passion alive in our entrepreneurship adventures. We laughed until midnight, we cried until there wasn’t a dry tear in the room. Friendships were created. Businesses were blossoming. It was truly amazing!
While there, I was honored to be a part of this gorgeous styled shoot put on by the fabulous, Hannah Marie, owner of Hannah Marie Events (if you are looking for a wedding or event planner, look her up, she’s awesome if you can’t tell!). It’s a lot of pressure when there are 14 photographers capturing your work but she was great and we even had her model so she could have some photographs of her working.
Lauren & Corey were kind enough to travel to be our models for the evening. The next few quotes were shared with the videographer in our group, Megan (looking for a videographer, look her up, she’s pretty amazing!) I found them to really add to the photographs and really shares the relationship between Lauren & Corey.
Lauren & Corey, thank you.
Thank you for taking the time out of your vacation to come play the role of bride & groom for myself and 16 other photographers! The way you two love each other is so beautiful and I am so glad I was able to capture that for you.
Many wishes and thanks to you both.
Well like I said I probably could go on an on but I’ll spare that for you. All in all Charleston was wonderful and I am so grateful to of been a part and to of met all these lovely ladies!
