Say hey to Laney! A Lifestyle Session / 2018

Ah! Do you love the color YELLOW? I sure do and so does Laney! Let’s be real, she realllyyyy loves yellow! But it just brings out the joy and excitement so we can’t complain!

Laney and I had the opportunity to do a lifestyle session last weekend with a little bit of branding photos too! Over the past four months, I have been Laney’s assistant! Laney is the owner of Design by Laney; a phenomenal invitation designer and calligrapher! I’ve enjoyed working along side of her and learning another side of the wedding industry! SO it was neat to be in my element and give her the experience of being my client!

We started our morning running in the sunflowers and embracing some more yellow 😉 Then we decided to use the local downtown art of different murals!

And just when I thought this was the best session ever, Laney asked if we could go pick up Bodie from camp to include him in some photos! Of course I said YES! We even got a photo of him with Dog Days in the background (if you’re looking for a fun camp for your dog, bring them here!)!

To make sure we had a handful of more branding photos we packed our bags and headed to a gorgeous wedding & event venue in the heart of Downtown Greensboro, McAlister Leftwich! Nothing but greatness there so if you’re looking for a wedding venue, be sure to check them out!!!! Laney is a invitation designer and calligrapher so we turned the spaces at McAlister into an “office” space and I captured Laney in her elements!

Gosh! Don’t you just love all the different decor elements of McAlister? I know I do! I am so excited to be photographing their FIRST wedding in October! Just think about all the beautiful portraits that will happen! So excited!

And the fact that Laney is so easy going and we had a blast spending the day capturing her in her elements!
