Happy Monday!!! I’ve got some GOOD news!
Hey hey friends! Happy Monday & HAPPY 2019!
So what it’s 14 days into the new year and I am writing my first journal entry for 2019, oh well!
I am SO glad you’re here and so excited to tell you something GOOD!
Last October, I had decided that hiring an associate photographer would be something I would be interested in doing. I am four years into the business and it sounded like a smart thing to do. I shared here on the journal and put a feel out on my Instagram to see who would be interested and who would apply! Well, I received three applications and honestly was really surprised! You never know until you try, right? Once the application period was closed, I reviewed each of the applicants and then made a decision that I felt was best for the business, my clients, and myself! I was looking for someone who would get along with me, understand my passion and my businesses purpose to serve brides, grooms, families, and other business owners & someone who was creative and not afraid of trying something new! By November 15th, I had made the decision! I had really prayed about it, did some research and was super excited to reach out to her and tell her the good news! She’s good y’all!!! She’s got a heart of gold and really excited to serve those who matter!
Without further ado, I’d love to introduce you to Amber!!!!
Hello there!
I’m Amber Prince; wife to a high school basketball coach, mother to a sweet baby girl-Roman Brooke, and lover of coffee. I love long walks down the aisles of Target and family meals around the table. I’m an early bird, but enjoy late night tv. The ocean soothes my soul and the Appalachian mountains have my heart (that’s where I met and fell in love with my handsome hubby). Cookies are my love language. You can find me at home with my little family soaking in every moment of this sweet, blessed life we live.
I’m so excited to join Madalyn Yates Photography and begin this new adventure! My love for documenting the sweet moments of life runs deep; and I can’t wait to capture yours.

P.S. It was 35 degrees and windy for this photo but we wanted to take it anyways. Anything for the shot, right? 😉 Also, yes, she used my hat and we will show up to all of our sessions with them on. Hehe!
