Erin & Matt / A Craggy Gardens Engagement Session / April 2019
We may of be in a cloud the entire session but it’s clear to me that Erin & Matt are madly in love!!! // Being a photographer sometimes you follow people who inspires you and these two definitely inspire me. They’re both in the creative industry and have so much heart & passion with what they do! I reached out to Erin last week (because we happen to be in Asheville at the same time) and asked if I could do a session with her, Matt and her two kids. I was so excited and grateful that she responded with a yes! We had a wonderful time last night adventuring the parkway! // Enjoy their LOVE because trust me it’s contagious!
I mentioned they are both in the creative industry so here is a little more about them!
Erin is a film director, writer, speaker, coffee drinking & outdoor explorer. She is an international film award winner and recently had a film, Stuffed premiere at SXSW 2019! She has a heart for creating films that share other people’s hearts and experiences. Do yourself a favor and go check her out, here!
Matt is a storyteller & photographer as well! He is a firm believer in the power of a good story, told well. He loves the outdoors, exploring new countries and hanging out with Erin, obviously! He recently had a photograph published on an international United Airways flight, how cool is that! Go give him a follow, here!
Since I was traveling to Asheville for another session, I decided that we should do their session at Craggy Gardens which is off the Blue Ridge Parkway, (mile marker 364.1 incase you needed to know!) I have hiked this trail once before and there are so many unique photo opportunities so I was so excited to have this session here. The trail reflects Erin & Matt’s personalities, and allows them to be themselves and allows me to capture their love & laughter. This session was a way to share their love with the world. They recently got engaged (YAY!) and have a wild adventure ahead of them! Who thinks they should elope in Hawaii and bring me along?
