I'M MADALYN!

Today, I am going to share my Top 5 Favorite Places to do your Engagement Session!

I’ve had this question asked to me many times so I’ve decided to share the answers with you! These locations are the options I provide for couples who aren’t sure where they want to do their session. Though, before I share these locations, I ask the couple to share places that they love to visit or enjoy because I love being able to incorporate those into their engagement session! I’ve done engagement sessions at breweries, the Blue Ridge Parkway, wedding venues, in-home and so many other creative places!

Here are four locations in Greensboro!

  • Downtown Greensboro – If you’re into an Urban // City vibe for your engagement session, then this is the location for you! I start these sessions with the urban vibe at a spot with brick walls, ivory walls, twinkle lights hanging over a street way and then we head to the garden area and if you’re up to it (which you definitely should!) we hop in the car and head to a parking deck to have a city view of Downtown Greensboro with the gorgeous sunset as your backdrop! The parking deck has turned into one of my favorite places to shoot! Here is a session as an example of how an engagement session here, looks!

  • Summerfield Farms – Alright, we live in the South and there has to be a farm that I can offer for engagement sessions and Summerfield Farms is just the place! With multiple backdrop options it’s a perfect spot for a gorgeous day! When I shoot at the Farm, we start at the Little Tree in a never ending field of rolling hills and beautiful views and then we go to the Meadow with tall trees and a woodland vibe! We end the session in front of the White Barn for that rustic farm look! Here is a session from a day at the Farm!

  • Bryan Park – I am a lover of fields of tall grass and gorgeous sunsets! So this location is perfect for just that. Depending on the time of year, Bryan Park has tall grass, pine trees, and fields of yellow flowers. The location can be dressed up or dressed down depending on your style! Here is a session for ideas!

  • Lake Brandt – Let’s talk about a beautiful location for those who love the water and the woodland look for their engagement session! For this location, if you’re into adventures this is is it! With a gorgeous backdrop at the dock, to hoping in the boats, and then jumping and splashing in the water! I absolutely LOVE shooting here! Check out Jessica & Hunter’s gorgeous engagement session! This session is actually at Bryan Park AND Lake Brandt!

And lastly, this location isn’t in Greensboro but just down the road in Winston Salem!

  • Bailey Park – Bailey Park is a mix of urban and city as well! With beautiful blooms on one side and then industrial backdrops on the other, it’s a win win situation! There is even a brewery and a pizza restaurant to end your night with yummy pizza and a refreshing brew! Loved working with Marion & Ethan on their engagement session, take a look here!
