Dora & Chris’ Wedding Day
This Fall was one of my busiests months, though I was so excited to end my 2019 Wedding Season with Dora & Chris! Dora & I had met at her matron of honor’s wedding (that I photographed) back in 2017 and by the end of the night, Dora said “Whenever I get engaged, you will be my wedding photographer!” And well, almost two years later, and Dora & Chris said I Do on a fairly warm fall day surrounded by their closest friends & family.
Dora started her day with her bridal party in the cutest little house! When I arrived, I immediately felt at home and was so excited to begin photos! When I arrive at weddings, I always start with the detail photos so the invitations, dress, shoes, jewelry, bouquet, all the pretty things! Dora had them all set up for me, it was such a sweet surprise!
Dora & Chris decided to do a first look before their ceremony and it was the sweetest moment before they said their vows, and shared a kiss as husband and wife! I love first looks for many reasons but my favorite reason is so that you can have a moment together before the ceremony!
Once, the ceremony was over, we moved on to family formals, bridal party formals, and then more photos of just Dora & Chris! By the time we were finished, it was almost time for the reception! Party time! And let’s be real, cake time! I love a good wedding cake and Dora & Chris had NINE of them!
Dora & Chris, thank you for including me on your wedding day. It was such an honor to photograph your special day and I am so excited to see where God leads you in this chapter of marriage! Congratulations, again!
