Every year for the past three years, I have had the pleasure to photograph Santa & Smores at Summerfield Farm and I always end up meeting the sweetest families. This past year, I had the pleasure to meet Sarah & her wonderful family; and when I say meet, I mean a quick hello & okay kids smile for the camera kind of meet.
A few months later, I came across Sarah on Instagram and immediately slid into her DM’s asking her if she’d be interested in doing a brand shoot for her upcoming book launch! And within five minutes she responded and was immediately interested! I was so excited to grab coffee with Sarah and learn about her story and how she got to where she is now, A PUBLISHED AUTHOR of an amazing book called, Now Waiting!
With their promise comes their process.
In seasons of waiting we want to see the promise and not the process.
I feel like this book came into my life at the right time for many reasons but the main one being I am in a season of waiting. A season of waiting for quite a few things. Relationships, business, life. A quote that really stood out to me within the first chapter of NW was “It’s not about if he can, it’s more about if he will do it for me!” Ladies, we need to stop comparing our highlight reels with other peoples highlight reels!! And instead of beating yourself up and comparing your reels to others, CELEBRATE with them and remember to celebrate your victories; big or small!
