Where are all my cookie & biscuit lovers?
When you mix delicious food and beautiful branding photography, I’d say that is a pretty good combination, wouldn’t you agree? A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure to photograph Ellen for some updated food branding photography. Ellen is the owner of Barretts Cookie & Biscuit Bar based in Raleigh, NC!
Before I share more about her branding experience, I’d love to give a huge shout out to Megan with Hosea House Collective! Megan and I collaborated on this branding experience and I couldn’t be more excited with how it turned out. Okay, now back to the cookies & biscuits!
Ellen started Barretts with the inspiration of her Grandmother so we made sure to include a lot of special touches including her grandmother’s rolling pins, measuring cups, wooden dough bowls, etc we wanted to make sure it was a part of the photographs.
One of Ellen’s special request was to see if we could include farm animals … and well Ellen’s wish was granted and we got to visit with some of the neighborhood cows! Ellen & her husband, Victor fed them Ritz crackers – it was so cute!!!
Once we finished all of the photographs of Ellen & the behind the scenes of what it takes to make her delicious cookies & biscuits, Ellen & Victor had a moment of photographs of just them!
One of my favorite parts of a branding experience is when they include their family. Because after all, we are encouraged by the people we surround ourselves with!
