Wow! It’s been a while since I’ve shared a branding experience on the blog but I am very excited to share with you The Flywheel Press Branding Photos that I had the honor of photographing this past summer! Before I share with you about the day, I’d love to share a little bit about the face behind The Flywheel Press, Kenzie Shore!
Kenzie and I connected on Instagram (like most of my clients and I do!) and she was in the process of doing a complete re-brand of her stationery & letterpress design brand Printology! Kenzie was looking for a way to make the experience that her clients have like a friendship – when she said that I knew she was in the right place!
Kenzie and her husband, Issac live in High Point, NC and they are such a sweet couple! They are so intentional in the relationships that they cultivate & they have a heart for their city. It was such a wonderful experience working with Kenzie & I hope that you too can see the heart behind her brand, The Flywheel Press!
Without further ado, here is her branding experience!
We started the day in her studio space with the intention of photographing the behind the scenes of her process. When she receives an inquiry for an invitation suite, she had a consult with her clients by presenting an idea as well as showcasing previous work. To capture this, we had a friend pop in!
Once the consult & conversation is over, Kenzie gets to work on designing and creating the stationery & letterpress!
This is by far my favorite part of her process! If you’re curious, The Flywheel Press was created because of this step in the process – Kenzie started her business by refurbishing old letterpress machines with her dad which then led to her creating art on the press! The wheel on the machine is called the flywheel!
In addition to The Flywheel Press, Kenzie wanted to show her heart for human connection & relationships that she cultivates daily
To capture this, a dear friend of Kenzies came and we walked over to a local coffee shop and they sipped on coffee and had a conversation while I photographed them at the moment! Your brand goes far beyond the product or service you provide so including a personal storyline during your branding experience is so important!
To finish up the day, we wrapped things up at Kenzie’s beautiful home!
In addition to Kenzie’s heart for stationery & letterpress, she and her husband Issac love interior design and creating a home that captivates their personality! Between their gorgeous kitchen and their adorable pup, I had the best time photographing them at their home!
