Events by Summer Joy | Branding Experience for North Carolina based Wedding & Event planners
I am so excited to share with you a super unique & personality infused brand shoot I had the pleasure of photographing! One of the best things about being a branding photographer is that I get to work with so many different brands let alone industries! From real estate agencies to circling back to the wedding industry, I see it all!
Okay, it’s time to introduce Events by Summer Joy to you! These ladies have created a wonderful brand that showcases their talents, desires, and personalities so well! Events by Summer Joy is a wedding & event planning company based here in Greensboro, NC! It was so fun to come together and bring life into their brand by doing a branding photo session! We planned out the session to a t; combining their work passions and their individual personalities – let me walk you through the day!
The First Chapter – Cadillac Service Garage
When planning a brand experience, I strive to pick locations that either speak to my clients brand or locations that they frequent. So, in EBSJ case, they are the go-to planners for a local venue called Cadillac Service Garage. The decor of the venue fits their brand so well, so it was the perfect match for their behind the scenes content as well as formal headshots for the main planners – Lauren, Hannah, Summer and Melanie!
Just a side thought – when planning a wedding, I highly recommend working with wedding planners that are familiar with your venue! This was so evident during our time at Cadillac because these ladies are there a lot and know exactly where they wanted to have their photos taken at! PLUS, by posting these photos on their Instagram, their audience will recognize them & see how they shine!
The Second & Third Chapter – PartyMakers Event Rentals & The Borough Market
Once we were finished up at Cadillac Service Garage we headed to another local business that the team visits a lot as part of the wedding planning process – PartyMakers! PartyMakers is where Lauren & the rest of the ladies help their couples find part of the decor for their special day; linens, place settings, napkins, chairs, & all the other pieces that make your wedding reception sparkle!
This part of the process that their audience’s don’t necessarily see so I was so glad they agreed to showcase this part for people to see how dedicated they are to help make your day perfect. When clients want to bring life to their brands, this is how it’s done!!! Let’s build your clients trust before they even inquire to work with you!
Afterwords, we turned corners and started to channel a little more local loving and personal touches by going to The Borough Market! There we created a work from local spots vignette!
The Fourth Chapter – Cooklin House
Since a lot of their work is done from the comfort of their own homes, we wanted to create content from one of their homes! We took each room and used it to the max! Each gal had a room and a concept. Hannah and Summer did working from the couch , so cozy! Lauren shared the process of building a vision board, so special and so many details! Melanie is their social media manager so we did some of her working from the dining room table with her tools!
We also wanted to make sure to get some personality infused headshots so I brought the seamless backdrop and we created some more magic!
The Fifth & Final Chapter – Joymongers Brewery
The last stop on their brand experience was a local brewery! Something that sets EBSJ apart from the others is that they love to hang out with their clients outside of the event! I wanted to showcase their community vibes by inviting a couple of theirs to join them for planning and a celebratory beverage!
