I’ve never been a Lake Life type gal but, this trip kind of fell into my lap! Through the exciting world of social media, I stumbled upon 216 Virginia Ave after sharing about another branding experience I had just shot in Virginia.
I immediately fell head over heels with all the spectacular details that the owners put into the boutique stay.
Each room was the perfect balance of older home character and modern decoration – there was so much for the eye to see and take in. After doing that though, you’re in for a relaxing weekend!
I decided to bring my good friend with me so I’d have someone to adventure with! Each evening we went to a local brewery, Buggs Island Brewery but during the day we did a lot of antique shopping and a fun picnic at the lake. One of my favorite parts about the airbnb was the front porch with the rocking chairs! They are are perfect for early morning coffee and a good book – we could have sat out there forever!
Being in a small quaint town like Clarksville, there were a lot of antique stores with lots and lots of hidden gems – my friend Hannah scored an incredible golden mirror! Even if you’re not in the market for a new antique, it’s still fun to browse!
Ashley, one of the owners of the Airbnb decided to include a thrifted picnic basket with a picnic blanket so we packed it up with some delicious & local snacks for a picnic at the lake!
Funny, you ask! There are so many excellent restaurants in town! We ended up ordering from a food truck, Off the Chain and then we ate at BIBS! We love exploring local restaurants so this was perfect for us!
For our last morning, we decided to eat-in but with food from local shops like, Sugar it Up – a bakery that has the best quiches and cinnamon rolls! The kitchen at the airbnb made a wonderful space to set the table and enjoy a lovely breakfast in the morning!
As far as snack food, we were all set! We had multiple flavors of Birdie’s Pimento Cheese – SO DELICIOUS!! and a variety of pretzels and chips from Perfection Snacks!
All these professional photos are just a small vision in what it looks like to experience the Lake Life at 216 Virginia Ave! It was so fun to capture all the magic around town but I am even more excited for Ashley to be able to use these photos for their website, social media, and any other marketing opportunities!
