I’m happy to share with you a abstract artist branding session. We built a list of photographs that would best showcase Gina’s brand. Gina is a talented painter who seeks inspiration from the coast and any beautiful scenery that surrounds her. Take a peek at her work by visiting her website, here!
Gina and I crossed paths back when I was still in the wedding industry as a wedding photographer and she worked with a well known floral designer, Jenny’s Projects! Seeing Gina flourish and find her calling as an artist has been so beautiful. She picked up a paint brush as a hobby which soon turned into a growing business with the mission statement of “to create beautiful, colorful artwork of the highest quality that resonates with people and brings color and joy to their lives.”
When I get an inquiry from a new client, one of the first questions I try to ask them is “have you ever had your photos professionally done?” Why? Because I understand that having your photos done is probably your least favorite task. But, I try my best to make our time together FUN and you feel CONFIDENT and exactly where you’re supposed to be.
These photos are a great representation of what it looks like to let go and let life happen. As your photographer, my goal is to make sure we intentionally plan your branding session so we know exactly what to do and when to do it. I strive to have you session go smoothly so that there aren’t any “dead” moments or times where we are unsure what to do!
Professional photographs benefit your brand; more than you think! In order for people to take you seriously and get a true representation of your work, having professional #brandphotos of you in your element create that relationship.
A variety! We will most likely start with photos of you in your office element! It’s time to capture the behind the scenes of your businesses. For Gina, an abstract artist, it was photos of her at her easel, sketching designs in her notebook, and her dreaming of what to paint next.
Once we captured those, I wanted some professional #brandphotos of Gina with her artwork! I staged a few different vignettes including going outside; this allows people to see her work on a large scale, as a collection.
And then lastly, I love to take stylized stock imagery for your brand! Gina wanted to show off her paints, tools, and some detailed shots of her pieces. When thinking about these, my rule is not to overthink it – bring in your go-to supplies and let me style it so it’s beautifully styled!
Well, I hope you feel refreshed and confident in yourself! At the end of our time together, I love hearing my clients say, “That was so much better than I thought! So much fun!” I know you might walk into your session nervous but when you put everything on the table and trust me to make the most of it, I promise you’ll feel a lot better!
Working with an abstract artist is always a great time! Thank you Gina for investing in yourself by booking your branding photography experience! If you’ve stumbled upon this blog post and you’re ready to invest in your brand, I’d love to chat with you! Click here and we can start the conversation!
