Sweet Summer Romance // Styled Wedding // August 20th, 2017

This past Sunday, myself along with a few other wedding creatives had the sweetest couple play the role of Bride & Groom in my second ever styled wedding! For this styled wedding I was looking for a very dreamy, romantic yet playful and real vibe. From finding the perfect dress to working with the sweetest vendors this experience was amazing and gorgeous!

Casey & Kenny recently tied the knot this past March so when she said they’d love to be the bride & groom for this shoot I was so excited! They are so sweet and they went along with everything, even some acting for this sweet first look! I asked Casey what her thoughts was about this experience and here is what she said:

“We had the privilege of being models in our first ever styled shoot. I can not think of a better photographer to have experienced this with. If I could use two words to describe our experience with Madalyn, I would say fun and easy. Madalyn made us feel completely comfortable and it was like we had known her for years (even though it was only our second time ever meeting her).”

Married life really is the best life. Marriage is a gift straight from God, and it is something you have to make your top priority and work at. It is so rewarding when you do work at it. We have only been married for almost 6 months but our relationship has been so fun, it feels like we have already been married for forever. – Casey

For the wedding cake, I didn’t want just your typical wedding cake so I reached out to a local doughnut business, Yee Haw Doughnuts and I got a dozen to use as a dessert for the cake table! Talk about sweet 😉

At Dewberry Farms they have had fields of sunflowers for the past few weeks so when the owner told me that there were still some in bloom, I knew we had to make it over to the field for a few photos!
